Wrestling Tournament @ Syracuse High School December 5-6, 2025 Syracuse High School 2000 W 665 S. Syracuse, UT 84075 The pre-season and the wrestle-offs are over. We've established the varsity squad and it's time to put to trial what we think is possible. There's really no better place to do that than at the Syracuse Scuffle. We've been going to Syracuse for years because it's one of the toughest dual tournaments available and we're ready for tough. Teams: Bear River, Brighton, Cedar Valley, Copper Hills, Lone Peak, Northridge, Payson, Ridgeline, Snow Canyon, Syracuse, Stansbury, Tooele The varsity will wrestle 8-9 duals (4 duals on Friday, 4-5 duals on Saturday) against teams from all around the state. This is an extension of our own team’s practice with the opportunity to showcase our top two wrestlers at each weight class as the season kicks off to a great start. The exciting twist is that we will also feature Alumni Matches with some of our greatest wrestling talent from the Warrior Nation. These Alumni Warriors will battle it out to put on a show and allow fans to buy "points" ($1 for 1 point) towards their favorite wrestler. Green & Gold Night puts the FUN in FUNdraiser, and this exciting and memorable night helps support our wrestlers this season. The action starts at 7:00 PM in the main gym at Snow Canyon High School this Tuesday, December 2, 2025. FREE admission to the public! We invite all parents/guardians, family members, community members (even opposing teams), and anyone and everyone wanting to catch a glimpse of our Snow Canyon Warrior Wrestlers in action! STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
WOW! Here we are. All of the early morning open-mats, late afternoon practices, extra conditioning, long bus rides, sacrifice, determination and heart have led us to this moment. It's STATE! We have 7 young men who will give everything they have to put themselves in the position to step up onto that podium that says "I am one of the best of the best!" And solidly behind each of these Warriors is a wall of parents, family, coaches, practice partners and teammates that helped get them here and will be there supporting, regardless of the outcome. WE ARE WARRIORS! Here's all the information you need: Utah High School Activities Association State Wrestling Championships UCCU Center, Utah Valley University, Orem, Utah 4A and 5A Boys February 11-12, 2025 A link to a sample packing list will be provided at the bottom of this. Of special note from the UCCU Center at UVU (and this will be enforced): There will be one (1) team ice chest allowed at UVU. Individual wrestlers will not be allowed to bring in personal coolers. *Let’s coordinate as a coaching staff and parents to find the best solution here. I contacted our top representative at UHSAA to petition this last year, and they are holding firm again this year. This was his exact reply: “This is a rule put in place by the venue. Teams will be able to bring 1 cooler that will remain in the lower level breezeway.” As a team we will work through this and find a way to take care of our wrestlers. We will have ongoing discussions about this over the next few days. Monday, February 10, 2025 GO TO YOUR MORNING CLASSES!
