The first official meet of the year is always a good one. We get up early and drive to Syracuse where we get up to 10 matches over two days. It's the perfect lab to test how well Coach Cox has done his job in getting us in shape.  For wrestlers, parents and fans who plan to join us, here is the schedule. Friday, December 1

6:00 AM - The bus leaves Snow Canyon High School - DO NOT BE LATE

12:30 PM - Weigh-ins - Scratch +1 (107, 114, etc)

3:00-9:30 PM -  5 Varsity Rounds (6 mats in main gym)
4:00-9:30 PM -  JV Tournament (4 mats in small gym)

Saturday, December 2

8:30 AM - Weigh-ins - Scratch + 2 lbs (108, 115, etc); 

9:30 AM – 3:00 pm - 4 Varsity Rounds (6 mats in main gym) and JV Tournament (4 mats in small gym)
12:00-12:30 pm Lunch Break

Teams:
American Fork, Bear River, Copper Hills, Granger, Highland, Mt. Crest , Northridge, Ridgeline, Skyridge, Snow Canyon, Syracuse, Weber

Format: Varsity: -Varsity teams will wrestle 9 duals. 5 duals on Friday, 4 duals on Saturday.
-We will NOT wrestle the teams in our region. Periods will be 1:30, 1:30, 1:30.

JV and Extras: -All JV and Extras will be placed in weight class brackets. Periods will be 1:15, 1:15, 1:15. Periods may be adjusted as time allows. A second chance tournament will take place on Saturday for those beat out on Friday.

Do not miss the 2017 Snow Canyon Warrior Wrestling Green and Gold Night Fundraiser and Alumni Matches. All the action takes place on Thursday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the auxiliary gym at Snow Canyon High School. And there will be a lot of action.

First and taking a priority that night, we will determine who starts the season as the varsity team. The top two wrestlers in nine weight classes will square off in winner-takes-the-top spot action in front of what will be a packed house in the small gym.

Not to keep the fun to ourselves, we invited a few of the best wrestlers to ever grace the mat at Snow Canyon to join us and help raise some funds to cover the cost of this year's season. These alumni matches will be unlike anything you have ever seen before. These clash-of-the-titan matches will have one minute rounds, but you can purchase points for your favorite wrestler throughout the match. It's going to be fast paced and very exciting. Your $5.00 donation puts two points on the board for your favorite wrestler.  A $25.00 insurance policy acts as a get-off-my-back guarantee to keep the action rolling.
