Pinching: (wrist control) Pinching to stop the standup Crowd him as much as possible. Drilling Proper tilting in up base position (drill dive tilt) drill only (key! Wrist control and head down inside) (hips tight to a body cradle) *Proper tilting in up base position (wrist tilt) (key! Wrist control elbow and head down inside. Hips tight to the body, elbow and knee together) *Proper tilting in flat position (reverse lift wrist tilt) (key! Wrist control, control elbow, step over knee @ the hip, outside foot under knee lift into position Hips in, elbow and knee together) *Proper tilting in the short sit position (sit wrist tilt) (Key! Wrist control, sit under elbow inside roll over) *Proper tilting in the standing position (standing spiral wrist tilt) (Key! Wrist control, control elbow inside hip out in front and up to ceiling, run hard and pull down Into your lap, elbow and knee together) Front way & back way take what he gives you. Key to learning this tilt series is drill drill drill drill!!!! FREE Wrestling Camp for ALL Snow Canyon Wrestlers 10 years old to 12th Grade
When: June 10-12, 2014 Where: Snow Canyon High School Wrestling Room (use back parking lot entrance to Wrestling Room) What to wear: T-shirt, shorts, wrestling shoes (barefoot okay if you do not have wrestling shoes) What to expect… Tuesday June 10 4:45 p.m. Arrive and do whatever you need to do to be ready to START at 5pm (i.e. check in, put on your wrestling shoes, help set up & clean mats, etc.) 5:00 p.m. Warm up and stretch 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. Small group instruction (Wrestlers will rotate in small groups to receive instruction on technique, strength & conditioning, nutrition, etc from multiple coaches and former SC Warrior Wrestlers) 6:15-6:45p.m. Live Wrestling 6:45-7:00 p.m. Wrestling Games 7:00-7:20 p.m. Go home, eat, clean up, etc. 7:30-9:30 p.m. Outdoor Movie in Coach Lang’s backyard with Unlimited FREE Popcorn (bring your own drinks unless you’re okay with water) Wednesday June 11 Same format as Tuesday, except we will end at 6:45 p.m. since a high percentage of athletes have scouts/family/church/other commitments they need to be to by 7 p.m. Thursday June 12 4:45 p.m. Arrive and do whatever you need to do to be ready to START at 5pm (i.e. check in, put on your wrestling shoes, help set up & clean mats, etc.) 5:00 p.m. Warm up and stretch 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. Small group instruction (same as Tuesday) 6:15-6:45p.m. Live Wrestling 6:45-7:00 p.m. Wrestling Games 7:30-9:00 p.m. POOL PARTY (location TBA).
