3A STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Snow Canyon Warrior Wrestlers had a good showing at the 3A Southern Divionsional Championships, qualifying nine wrestlers for the State Championships which take place February 10 & 11 at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Warriors qualifying were Reese Jones and Daxton Edwards at 120 lbs, Tanner Wilde at 132 lds, Christian Case at 145 lbs, Seth Rodgers at 152 lbs, Chris Stoddard and Rhett Boatright at 182, Tanner Nelson at 195 lbs and in the 220 lbs weight class, Tui Kanosh.

For fans and family wanting to see the culmination of the season, and we encourage everyone to come and support these awesome warriors, the schedule is as follows:

Thursday, February 9
5:30 PM - Bus leaves Snow Canyon High School (DON'T BE LATE)

Friday, February 10
10:00 AM - Skin Check
11:00 AM - Weigh-in (Scratch with mid year growth allowance, 108, 115, etc.)
1:00 PM - Championship Round 1
4:00 PM - Championship Quarter Finals, Consolation Round 1
7:15 PM - Consolation Round 2

Saturday, February 11
7:45 AM - Skin Checks
8:30 AM - Weigh-in (Scratch with mid year growth allowance plus one pound, 109, 116, etc.) LAST WEIGH IN OF THE YEAR
10:30 AM - Championship Semi-Finals, Consolation Quarter-Finals
12:45 PM - Consolation Semi-Finals
2:00 PM - Consolation Finals
5:00 PM - Parade of Champions and Finals
7:00 PM (Approx.) - Presentation of awards
