Desmond Wise Tribute  Desmond Wise is a 9th Grader, but wrestles at the High School Varsity position for our wrestling team. Desmond’s mother Felissa Ferrill-Shaw passed away unexpectedly last week. It has been a heartbreaking tragedy for the whole team. This post, pictures and captions are for Desmond.  Desmond, you are part of our Wrestling Team Family. We love you. We’ve got your back and will always be here for you and your family.  Here’s our team picture with Desmond on the 2nd row, 1st person on the far left  Desmond took 6th place this month at the Page, AZ Sun Devil Classic Wrestling Tournament. His points contributed to our team’s final score that brought us to #3 out of 21!  Here’s a few pictures with Desmond and the team during the trip to Page, AZ. We took a short break and drove down by the Glen Canyon Dam of Lake Powell for some fresh air.       Desmond has become our team mascot that the boys have nicknamed, “Desi-Bear!”

Kimball Leavitt Named to Utah 3A Academic All-State Wrestling Team & Places 4th in 3A State Tournament  Congratulations to our own Kimball Leavitt for being honored as a member of the Utah 3A Academic All-State Wrestling Team! He will receive his award and special recognition immediately before the Finals of the 3A State Tournament February 16, 2013.  |
