Desmond Wise Tribute

Desmond Wise is a 9th Grader, but wrestles at the High School Varsity position for our wrestling team. Desmond’s mother Felissa Ferrill-Shaw passed away unexpectedly last week. It has been a heartbreaking tragedy for the whole team. This post, pictures and captions are for Desmond.

Desmond, you are part of our Wrestling Team Family. We love you. We’ve got your back and will always be here for you and your family.

Desmond took 6th place this month at the Page, AZ Sun Devil Classic Wrestling Tournament. His points contributed to our team’s final score that brought us to #3 out of 21!

Here’s a few pictures with Desmond and the team during the trip to Page, AZ. We took a short break and drove down by the Glen Canyon Dam of Lake Powell for some fresh air.

Desmond has become our team mascot that the boys have nicknamed, “Desi-Bear!”
