(These notes will make more sense if you watch the video first, or were actually at the camp) Wednesday June 13, 2018 Warm up with jogging, tumbling, dynamic stretching, etc... Review Over/Under with pushing, then push and angle off, then angle off to attack Snatch or High C. Review Underhook Offense from feet, then same with Inside Tie. Bottom Wrestling Position Simplified Bottom from belly... Push off the mat using the "fat" part of your palms (on pinky side). No elbows! Push back and bring your knees up as you move. Never stop moving! Chain your knee slides, changeovers, switches, shoulder rolls/granby's, etc. together. Aggressively move right into the next move! Eliminate gaps and pauses. Beating the Crosswrist... 1. Move (knees under chest) 2. Elbow on his/her thumb to clear the wrist. 3. Once you've cleared your wrist, keep your elbows on your hips. 4. Keep moving! Bottom --> Space + Movement or Movement to create space. Beat the Inside Wrist... Look into it, pinch elbow in tight, drive same side knee up, ball up, post on free hand, slide far knee up and finish Inside Changeover. *If no pressure, move and knee slide. **If there is pressure, meet it! "What you think you are, you are!" -Luke Lofthouse Beat the Leg Ride... 1. Move 2. Attack the clamp (hip down or mule kick to hip down or knee slide up into chest) Use top hand to scrape off the other leg leg/prevent other leg from coming in. Erkin - Hard dump, scrape hand off, then post same side hand to recover your base and swim across his waist. Luke - Dump, slide trapped leg the direction of his boot in leg. Scoot hips away (sag), scrape hand off waist, circle feet the direction of his boot in leg, clear inside arm between your bodies and around his waist.
