We've got a couple of dual tournaments under our belts and we're ready for the next challenge: The Desert Storm Classic. Many people say this tournament is tougher than the state championships and with good reason. The Desert Storm welcomes dozens of teams from several different states, all stacked with wrestlers hungry to prove themselves. Walk away with a medal at this double elimination meet and you've really accomplished something pretty special. We've had medal winners in the past and we expect some this year. Here are the details for the weekend:

There's something about the first home dual of the season. We've been on the road, gaining experience, getting better. Now it's time to show it off to the home crowd. We'll be taking on the Falcons of Canyon View and they are going to be tough. They always are. We'll need the power of the Warrior Nation behind us to keep us going. Don't miss this chance to support the Warriors at home.

The meet takes place in the main gym at Snow Canyon High School (1385 N 2400 W, St George) with the JV starting at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity taking the mat at 7:00 p.m.

Concessions will be available so be sure to bring friends and family.

We're ready for the next big weekend tournament, the Thunder Holiday Duals. Traditionally this meet tests endurance, skill and grit as we battle through a minimum of eight matches over two days. We'll face some of the toughest teams from across Utah and Arizona. Join us at Desert Hills High School (828 Desert Hills Drive, St George, UT) for all the action. Both Varsity and JV will wrestle.

After a very successful Green & Gold Night Fundraiser and Alumni Duals followed by a grinding Syracuse Scuffle, the team heads to Dixie High School this Thursday, December 7, to test our mettle against the Flyers in the first region dual of the year. We give up a couple of weight classes to forfeits, but we've been working hard and look forward to the challenge.

The meet takes place at Dixie High School (350 East 700 South, St. George) with the Junior Varsity team kicking off the action at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Varsity dual at 7:00 p.m.. Heading into enemy territory, the Warriors could use the might of the Warrior Nation behind them as they take the mat. Plan to come and cheer on the wrestlers at this important meet.

The bus will leave Snow Canyon Parking lot at 3:30 p.m. DO NOT BE LATE.
