This weekend will bring LOTS of wrestling for our boys. We are taking all of our Varsity, JV, and extras to the Iron Town Duals. In the past it has been a badge of honor to earn an "Undefeated" t-shirt from two days of solid wrestling. T-shirt or otherwise, getting out of this tournament unscathed is truly an accomplishment.

Here are all the details for the Warrior Nation who want to make the short jaunt to Cedar City to support.

Varsity – Dual Team format up to 8-9 matches per wrestler

JV - 5-man Round Robins wrestled after Rounds 1, 2, 5, and 6.

Friday, January 9, 2026

10:10 AM - All wrestlers excused from school (for 10th-12th graders, 10:10AM is when 2nd period ends; so you will only miss 3rd and 4th period classes. For 9th graders, you will be excused at 10:00AM during 2nd period; so you will miss some of 2nd, and all of 3rd and 4th).

10:15 AM - Wrestlers meet in the hallway outside of the wrestling room to check-in (DO NOT BE LATE - Check your weight. Have all your gear? Wrestling shoes, headgear, singlet? Knee pads? Mouth guards?)

10:30 AM - Bus leaves for Canyon View High (DO NOT BE LATE)

12:00 PM - Weigh-ins (Growth Allowance plus 2 pounds - 110, 117, etc.)

Round 1 - 1:30 PM (JV when dual is over)

Round 2 - 3:30 PM (JV when dual is over)

Round 3 - 5:30 PM (short dinner break)

Round 4 - 7:00 PM

*We will drive back home to SCHS upon completion of Round 4. Estimated return time to Snow Canyon High School is 9:30 PM.

Saturday, January 10, 2026

6:15 AM - Meet in the wrestling room for check-in (DO NOT BE LATE - Check your weight. Have all your gear? Wrestling shoes, headgear, singlet? Knee pads? Mouth guards?)

6:30 AM - Bus leaves for Canyon View High (DO NOT BE LATE)

8:00 AM - Weigh-ins (Growth Allowance plus 2 pounds - 110, 117, etc.)

Round 5 - 9:30 AM (JV when dual is over)

Round 6 - 11:30 AM (JV when dual is over)

Round 7 - 1:30 PM (lunch break after dual)

Round 8 - 3:30 PM 

Dual #9 - 5:00 PM (Championship Crossover)

*We will drive back home to SCHS as soon as we finish our final dual.
